Ellen Withington, School and College Liaison Officer at Downing College, Cambridge, (pictured above with Year 9 Students) visited in March and discussed life at Cambridge, Oxford, courses and aspirations. She gave an interesting talk, slide show and then held a question and answer session for Students interested in applying.

The visit was organised by Lucy Wright, Head of English, she said: “This session was held to encourage more of our Students to aim high, believe in themselves and apply for top universities, it exploded lots of myths about ‘Oxbridge’ and gave useful advice about applying.”
